Manual Invitation
With the manual invitation feature, you can invite a visitor to your website to chat with you. You can customize the invitation by pre-defining a personalized message sent along with the invitation.
Go to your system
CloudCX installation domain
, and log in with the admin account.From the left navigation menu, go to Omni Widget > My Widget. Select a Widget from the My Widget drop-down list.
Go to Invitation > Manual Invitation.
In the Manual Invitation tab, you can do the following:
Select a style based on your preference.
Web Chat provides two different styles of proactive chat: Bubble and Greeting Message in the Chat Window.
The Bubble invitation style only works with the Adaptive Chat button. Your invitation message appears above an agent avatar.Â
The Greeting message invitation style only works with an embedded chat window. When a chat invitation is issued, the embedded chat window on your website opens up and your invitation message appears as your greeting message in the chat window.Â
Select a color for the text background.
Select display agent avatar or image on header.
When you select display agent avatar, the button will display the agent avatar.
When you select display image, you can upload your own designed image for the Header.
Enter a Message which will display in the manual invitation window.
Check the box to display typing area.
Click Save.Â
The settings and the changes will take effect immediately. Moreover, every time when you manually invite visitors to chat with you, you can edit the invitation message before sending out the invitation.
