5.2 Group Chat


Create a Group Chat

  1. Go to your system CloudCX installation domain, and log in with the agent account.

  2. Click Agents in the left navigation menu.

  3. Click on the “+” button to create a group chat.

  1. In the Add Chat Group page, you can do the following:

  • Click All to add all the agents in the system into the group chat.

  • Select a chat queue and click the checkbox of the chat queue to add all the agents in the chat queue into the group chat.

  • Select and click a chat queue to enter the agent’s list in the chat queue.

  1. (Optional) In the agent’s list, you can do the following:

  • Click All to add all the agents in the chat queue into the group chat.

  • Select agents and click the checkbox of agent to add the selected agents into the group chat.

  1. Click Save. You will enter the group chat window.

  2. In the group chat window, you can do the following:

  • Text: Input the reply message to the text area, and click image-20241021-023721.png button to send the message to the agent.

  • Memes: Click image-20241021-023734.png button and select a meme to send to the agent.

  • Attachment: Click image-20241021-023744.png button and select a file or picture from your device to send to the agent.

  • Add Agents: Click image-20241021-023813.png button to add agents in to the chat.

  • Group Settings: Click image-20241021-023848.png button to enter the group settings page.

  • History: Click image-20241021-023830.png button to view the history.

  1. In the Group Settings tab, you can do the following:

  • Click image-20241021-024250.png button to edit the group name.

  • Select an agent and click image-20241021-024519.png to choose, go to the chat with the agent or remove the chat from the group.

  • Click Leave the group to leave the group chat.

Manage Group Chats

In the Sessions tab, you can view all the chats and manage chats by right-clicking an agent.

When you right-click a group chat, you can do the following:

  • Sticky on top: Click on the button, the chat will be placed on the chat list top.

  • Mute notifications: Click on the button, the chat will be mute, and you can not receive the message notifications from the chat.

  • Remove: Click on the button, the chat will be removed from the chat list.

  • Clear chat history: Click on the button, the chat’s history will be cleared.

  • Leave the group: Click on the button, you will leave the group chat.
