Businesses can now access Cloud API directly from Meta without 3rd party providers and setup fees. If you want to manage your WhatsApp API account directly with Meta this solution is for you.

In this guide we will show you how to register a WhatsApp Cloud API number and connect it to CloudFon CX.

Only one phone number is allowed per FB Developer App. To add and connect more phone numbers, create another app by repeating Step 1 in this guide.

Step 1: WhatsApp Business Cloud Account + CloudFon CX subscription

First, make sure you have a WhatsApp Business Cloud Account. If you don't, read this:

Step 2: Add WhatsApp Cloud channel

ļ¼ˆ1ļ¼‰In your CloudFon CX, Select Inbox > Channels, and then click on WhatsApp

ļ¼ˆ2ļ¼‰On the next page, Click Add icon, and then Select WhatsApp Cloud.

You should see the following:

Note: Theā€œNameā€ is custom.

  • Fill in theĀ Phone ID,TokenĀ andĀ WhatsApp Business Account ID you saved locally in the WhatsApp channel account.

  • Copy theĀ Webhook URL andĀ Verify tokenĀ from the CloudFonā€™s WhatsApp channel account .

  • On the Edit webhookā€™s callback URL pop-up, provide theĀ Webhook URLĀ andĀ Verify token you copied from CloudFon CX in the previous stepļ¼Œthen Click Verify and save.

  • Go back to CloudFon CX, click Save.

That's it!

Your WhatsApp Business Cloud account is now connected to CloudFon CX.
