CloudCX’s SMS integration makes it easy to handle SMS messages sent to your business alongside your other communication channels. The integration allows you to receive SMS messages from your customer and reply to them from inside the CloudCX Agent Console. This means that you can provide quicker, more effective customer service over SMS than ever before.

You need to set up an account and phone number with Twilio first before using CloudCX’s SMS integration.

Step-by-Step Instructions

To connect your SMS Professional account to CloudCX, follow these steps:

(1)Log in to your CloudCX Panel.

(2)From the left navigation menu, go to Inbox > Channels > SMS.

  • Twilio SMS

a. Create a Twilio account

First you’ll need to create a Twilio account. You’ll also need to buy a Twilio phone number which supports SMS.

b. Click Add and choose Twilio SMS from the drop-down list.

You should see the following:

Note: The”Name” is custom.

c. Copy Twilio settings to CloudCX

From your Twilio account settings:

(1) Copy your Account SID and your Auth Token to the CloudCX Twilio setup page.

(2) From your Twilio phone number settings page copy your phone number SID to the CloudCX Twilio setup page.

(3) Once you've filled in the information in the CloudCX Twilio setup page, click Save
