Configuring SMTP Server

  • Upon your initial login, you will receive a prompt to set up the Email Server.

  • It is highly advised that you adhere to the instructions provided to configure the Email Server. This component is crucial for system management as it notifies administrators of any system exceptions, sends pertinent reports to administrators, and alerts tenant administrators during tenant creation. Let's proceed with the step-by-step guidance to finalize the Email Server setup.



Configure Mail Server

Currently, three email server configuration methods are supported: Custom SMTP Email Server, Gmail and Microsoft Office 365. Let's explain them one by one.

1. Use Custom SMTP

Follow these steps to complete the configuration of the Custom SMTP Server:

  • Sign in as System Administrator

  • Select the menu Advanced > Email Server Setting.

  • Enter your SMTP server domain/address and port.

  • Email Address: the email of the sender.

  • Enter the username and password.

  • Select Encrypted Type: Select the Encrypted Type of your SMTP server, it can be None, SSL, TLS/STRTTLS.

Note:  You can test the configuration by clicking the "Test" button below. If the configuration is successful, a success message will be displayed.

2. Use Gmail

Before configure Gmail, please click “Go to Config” to complete the Gmail Integration setting, Please refer to Email Application-Gmail for details.

Upon completing the Gmail integration, selecting Gmail and clicking on "Authorize" will trigger a pop-up Gmail authorization login screen. Follow the instructions within this window to finalize the authorization process. Once authorization is successfully completed, the configured Gmail mailbox will be ready for sending messages.

3. Use MS Office 365

Before configure MS Office 365, please click “Go to Config” to complete the MS Office 365 Integration setting, Please refer to Email Application-Microsoft for details.

Upon completing the integration with MS Office 365, selecting Microsoft Office 365 and clicking on “Authorize” triggers a Microsoft authorization login screen. Follow the instructions within the Microsoft authorization window to finalize the authorization process. Once authorization is successfully completed, the configured Microsoft Office 365 mailbox is ready for sending messages.
