Importing a CSV allows you to add and update contacts. If a Contact ID, or phone number, or email address in your CSV matches an existing contact, they will be updated with the mapped values. Otherwise, a new contact will be created.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to your system CloudCX installation domain, and log in with the admin account.

  2. From the left navigation menu, go to Contact.

  3. Click the image-20240929-032726.png button and select “Import Contact”.

  • Overwrite: Replace current values with imported values.

  • Update blank only: Imported values will only be added if the current value is empty.

  • Add Appendix: Add the imported values and does not replace the current values.

  1. Click Next button.

You can click the "Back" button to go back to the previous step to modify.

    1. In the Define & Review page, you can review the imported Contact status, including total contacts, the number of contacts that will be imported, and the number of contacts that will be skipped.

    2. (Optional) You can click + button to add tags to the all contacts that will be imported.

    3. Click Import.

    All the imported contacts will be displayed in the contact list.
