1.1.4 Forgot password

A password is a secret combination of characters that identify a user and grant access to a specific device or website. A password protects the username that a service or website user chooses to keep their account and data private and secure.


Reset Password

When you log in to the system, you forget your account’s password. You can reset the password to get a new password.

Prerequisites

To use Forgot Password function, your system MUST configure Custom SMTP Servers in the system > Global Settings > Company > Custom SMTP Servers. You can find more details about Custom SMTP Servers9.2.2 Custom SMTP Server.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Click on “Forgot Password” to enter the password reset page.

  1. Input the Company Name and Email, then click on “Captcha”. The system will send you the verification code for resetting your password for to your email automatically.

Note:

  • If you receive a tip “Email address does not exist!”, please check the Company name and email address whether are correct.

  • If you can not reach your email, please contact the system administrator to reset your account password.

  1. Input the email captcha, then click on “Set Your Password” to reset your password.

  1. Input a new password in Password box. The password needs to comply with complexity check rules, otherwise you can not reset your password successfully.

  1. Input the new password again in Confirm Password box, then click on “Set Your Password”. After reset your password successful, you will receive an email about the password has been reset successfully, and the system page will automatically enter the login page again. Now, you can log in to the system with the new password.
