Custom Configure Hubspot in CloudCX Tenant

CloudCX HubSpot Custom Configuration provides Tenant's integration with HubSpot via the API for CRM. The configuration is done server-side, in an easy and straightforward way. Let's follow the instructions step by step to complete the custom integration with Hubspot in Tenant.

Create A Hubspot App

To integrate with Hubspot, you have to create a HubSpot app in your HubSpot.

Prerequisites

  1. A valid HubSpot Account.

Create A Hubspot App

  1. Go to HubSpot Developers 🚀.

  • If you already have a HubSpot developer account, click on “Go To My Account”, then skip to step 5.

  • If you don’t have a HubSpot developer account, click on“Create a developer account” to create a HubSpot developer account.

  1. Click on “Create App Developer account”.

  1. Log in with your HubSpot account, and click on “Continue with this user”.

  1. Click on “Start sign-up”, and enter the Job Role, Company name to create a HubSpot developer account.

  1. From the left navigation menu, go to Apps, then click on “Create app”.

  1. In the App Info, enter the Public app name for your app.

  1. In the Auth settings, add Authorized Redirect URL https://your_cx_domain/api/v2.0/integration/app/callback/api/Hubspot to the Redirect URLs.

  1. Turn on advanced scope settings, click on “+Add new scope” to add the below scopes.

  • crm.lists.read

  • crm.lists.write

  • crm.object.companies.read

  • crm.object.companies.write

  • crm.object.contacts.read

  • crm.object.contacts.write

  • crm.object.owners.read

  • oauth

  • tickets

  • crm.lists.read

  • crm.lists.write

  • crm.object.companies.read

  • crm.object.companies.write

  • crm.object.contacts.read

  • crm.object.contacts.write

  • crm.object.owners.read

  • oauth

  • tickets

  1. After adding the required scopes, click on “Save changes”.

In the Auth settings, you will have to obtain the Client ID and Client Secret. These values will be required while setting up in the HubSpot custom configuration.

Configure HubSpot Integration in CloudCX

  1. Click on “custom configuration” to enter the custom configuration page.

  1. Enter the below requested values, then click on “Next”. The HubSpot custom configuration page will be closed automatically.

  1. Click on “Connect with HubSpot” and then login with your HubSpot account.

Note: You need to have particular sets of permissions in your HubSpot account for the integration to work. It is recommended that you use a HubSpot Admin account.

  1. Choose one account to connect with your CloudCX system, then click on “Choose Account”.

Warning: Choose Standard HubSpot Accounts, please do not select the App Developer Account you just created, or you won't be able to connect successfully.

  1. Click on “Connect app” to approve the permission requests from your CloudCX system, HubSpot connect page will be closed automatically.

  1. The connected HubSpot account will be shown on the App & Integrations > Settings. Now, CloudCX will be able to save or update visitor’s information to the connected HubSpot account.
